Prices increase for shipments to the USA & Canada after July 1st... and Canada Shipping costs may be different...
- Last year, the Universal Postal Union agreed to allow the US to set prices themselves from 1 July. This met the US administration's stated objective of increasing how much they charge other countries for delivery.
- There has been a 95% drop in air passenger flights as a result of Covid-19 and shippers have to use air freight instead. This is considerably more expensive and has led to a very significant increase in shipping costs to the US following the outbreak of Covid-19. We have absorbed these costs to date, but from 1 July, we will have to recover our best estimate of future shipping costs in this financial year.
This is likely to mean different delivered prices in the USA and Canada.
